According to legend, the St Lawrence Wendigo is a large, monster-like creature with a human body and a bear-like head. It is said to be very fast and agile, and can run through forests and across rivers with ease. It is also said to have an insatiable appetite for human flesh and is said to be able to consume an entire human in a single bite. Sightings of the St Lawrence Wendigo are said to be rare, but those who have encountered it claim it is an intimidating and frightening sight.
